Hunter Henry Sees Playing-Time Boost

New England's elevated passing volume certainly helped that target count. Henry's eight accounted for just 17.4% of QB Drake Maye's 46 passing attempts. But Henry also got encouraging playing time.

According to Pro Football Focus, Henry played 93% of the offensive snaps. That included 92% playing time in 11 personnel (one TE) and 93% on third downs. Henry reached 90% playing time just once in last year's 16 appearances.

Austin Hooper -- who ate into Henry's opportunities a frustrating amount last year -- played 32.4% of the snaps and ran just 10 pass routes (compared with Henry's 39).

New England likely won't pass so much most weeks. But that level of playing time could make Henry a weekly starting option for fantasy lineups.

He at least looks good for a Week 2 visit to Miami, which allowed 30 points to the Colts and a 7-76 receiving line to rookie TE Tyler Warren in Week 1.

We'll see how the usage holds up before planning out Henry's usage for home dates with the Steelers and Panthers the following two weeks.

Henry will be worth a look where available on waivers this week.
