Jerry Jeudy Shows Signs Of Life, But Browns Still Lose

One week after scoring exactly zero fantasy points, Cleveland Browns WR Jerry Jeudy finally had a solid fantasy outing--after the vast majority of fantasy managers had benched him. Taking advantage of a new-look Jets' defense that traded off their top run stopper and coverage CB, Jeudy caught 6 balls for a season-high 78 yards and scored his first TD of the season. However, it wasn't enough as the Browns handed the Jets their second win of the season by allowing a pair of special teams TDs in a 27-20 loss.

        2025 Fantasy Football Impact

Prior to Week 10, HC Kevin O'Connell Kevin Stefanski relinquished play-calling duties to OC Tommy Rees. The immediate results were somewhat encouraging, even if the Browns lost.

Cleveland's 278 yards of offense were their most since Week 5. QB Dillon Gabriel completed  17-of-32 attempts for 167 yards, 2 TD, and 0 INT.

Jeudy commanded 12 of Gabriel's targets, a healthy 37.5% target share. That was a hefty increase from the 19% target share that Jeudy earned in Cleveland's first eight games, and the volume pay immediate dividends.

Jeudy's 78 receiving yards were his most of the season and he secured his first TD, a 22-yard strike from Gabriel to tie the game at 14 in the second quarter.

Ultimately, Jeudy played 70 of Cleveland's 73 snaps. That 95.8% snap share was his highest mark of the season, and his 12 targets were second-most, after the 13 he drew at Pittsburgh in Week 6.

Cedric Tillman, playing for the first time since injuring his hamstring in Week 4, reclaimed his role as the Browns' No. 2 WR. Tillman ran 34 routes in his 53 snaps and ranked third on the team with 4 targets.

Jamari Thrash reverted to WR3 duties, running 17 routes on 22 snaps but failing to secure his only target.

A new play-caller didn't alter the Browns heavy usage of 12 personnel. TEs Harold Fannin (48 snaps) and David Njoku (50 snaps) combined to catch 6-of-9 targets for 36 yards and a score.

That TD, a 9-yarder to David Njoku in the first quarter, opened the scoring. But the Jets returned the ensuing kickoff for a 99-yard TD. The Brown then went 3-and-out only to have the Jets return the punt 74 yards for another speical teams TD.

As disappointing as the loss was for Browns fans, Jeudy's performance as encouraging. He had his best fantasy outing of the season and resembled an legit weapon for the first time in several weeks.

Cleveland has the league's ninth-easiest remaining strength of schedule for WRs, which includes a Week 17 matchup with a Pittsburgh defense that has yielded the second-most fantasy points to opposing WRs.

You may have parked Jeudy on your bench or cut him, but Week 10 offered some hope that the veteran WR can still be a modest fantasy option down the stretch. View him as a matchup-based flex option who should see enough volume to post usable fantasy numbers in the second half of the season.
