The Bengals announced Monday that QB Joe Burrow has been cleared to start practicing on a limited basis. The announcement comes two months after he suffered a Grade 3 turf toe vs. Jacksonville in Week 2. He had surgery on Sept. 19 and was expected to miss at least three months. This return to practice means the team now has three weeks to either fully activate Burrow or end his season. The end of that decision window would hit between the Week 13 visit to Baltimore and a Week 14 trip to Buffalo. How the 3-6 Bengals fare over the next three games will likely factor into that decision.

If you see or hear anyone say, "I'm not sure the Bengals will play Burrow ahead of Joe Flacco at this point" ... please make sure to call that person an idiot.
Beyond that, we'll have to see how Burrow's return goes and whether the team can keep this season relevant. Losing to the Jets and Bears the past two games despite scoring 38+ points in each contest doesn't bode well.
The next three matchups:
- at Pittsburgh
- vs. New England
- at Baltimore
If Burrow returns after that, he'd get attractive matchups at Miami in Week 16 and vs. Arizona at home in Week 17.
Burrow's worth stashing in leagues where available, as long as you don't have to damage your roster value to hold him.
