Fowler: “Dolphins RB Alexander Mattison has a neck injury that requires surgery, per sources. He’s expected to make a full recovery but will be out for the 2025 season. Has full strength and motion.”
Thankfully, Mattison has full strength and motion. Quietly having a strong camp in Miami, Mattison’s season is now over, which explains why the Dolphins hosted veteran free agent RB Jamaal Williams for a workout.
We’ll see if Williams joins the team, but as it currently stands, rookie RB Ollie Gordon is now poised for the RB3 role behind RBs De’Von Achane and Jaylen Wright.
