Dolphins RB Jaylen Wright had a "minor procedure" and is now expected to miss multiple games, HC Mike McDaniel said Thursday. The goal is a “Septemberish” return, McDaniel added.
We reported earlier this week that Wright would miss Week 1. It now sounds like he'll miss 2-4 games, if we're to believe the "Septemberish" timeline.
We'll look for more details on Wright's status, but he's tough to roster at this point outside of fantasy leagues with an IR spot. His grasp on Miami's No. 2 RB job seemed to be slipping even before this injury.
