League Suspends Tre'von Moehrig One Game

The league has suspended Panthers S Tre'von Moehrig one game for punching 49ers WR Jauan Jennings ... in a sensitive area late in Monday night's contest. Jennings drew attention for an open-handed shot to Moehrig's head at the end of the game, but further review quickly revealed his motivation. Moehrig is appealing the ban.

2025 Fantasy Football Impact

Assuming this suspension stands up on appeal, Moehrig will miss Sunday's game against the Rams.

Lathan Ransom would likely be the next guy up at safety for Carolina.

Given how things are going for the Panthers and Rams right now, it's not really going to matter (outside of IDP leagues) who starts in that Carolina secondary.
