Robert Spillane Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Raiders LB Robert Spillane (knee) is active for today's game against the Bengals. Use him as planned in your IDP lineups.

Raiders LB Robert Spillane (ankle) is active for today's game against the Chiefs. Use him as planned in your IDP lineups.

Raiders Robert Spillane (ankle) and S Marcus Epps (neck) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. Both guys spent the entire practice week limited. Spillane didn't miss a snap last week, so we'd bet on him being ready to play. Epps left that game after 16 snaps so carries a bit more risk. He's also a much lower-level IDP option. We'll check both players ahead of Sunday's game.

Raiders LB Robert Spillane (hand) is active for today's game against the Giants. We assumed he'd play through his questionable tag and kept him at his usual level in the Week 9 rankings. Start him comfortably in your IDP lineups.

The Raiders have ruled LB Divine Deablo (ankle) and LB Luke Masterson (concussion) out for Sunday's game against the Giants. That removes a starter and the guy who would have filled in for him. LB Robert Spillane is also questionable with a hand injury. He managed limited practices Thursday and Friday, though, after missing Wednesday. We haven't seen an indication on how likely he is to play but would lean toward betting he'll be out there. Amari Burney -- a sixth-round rookie -- should be the next guy up. He played 45% of snaps in Monday night's loss to the Lions, which Deablo missed and Masterson left early. Curtis Bolton checks in behind Burney on the current depth chart. Spillane will be an easy start if he's active. Burney can be a low-end option for deeper leagues but would be risky. Week 8 marked his first NFL action. Check the Week 9 LB rankings for final positions before you set your IDP lineups.

Steelers LB Myles Jack didn't play in Sunday's game against the Saints. He opened the week not practicing with a knee issue but finished with a full Friday workout and didn't appear on the final injury report. But LB Robert Spillane started in his place, next to Devin Bush. We'll see whether coaches reveal the motivation this week.

The Steelers on Wednesday placed LB Devin Bush on the COVID list. That likely knocks him out for Sunday's game at Kansas City. Bush's absence wouldn't be a big loss for either the Pittsburgh defense or IDP lineups, though. Robert Spillane figures to start next to Joe Schobert if Bush is out.

Steelers ILB Devin Bush returned to full practice participation Wednesday. That's a particularly noteworthy turnaround after he missed Week 2 with a groin injury. Bush appears on track to return Sunday against the Bengals. OLB T.J. Watt also put in a limited practice just 3 days after leaving the loss to the Raiders with a groin injury. We'll track Watt throughout the week. OLB Alex Highsmith missed practice with his own groin injury but is merely a low-level IDP option at this point. CB Joe Haden (groin) practiced on a limited basis after missing Week 2.
