        Devontez Walker: Dynasty Sleeper?

        Devontez Walker: Dynasty Sleeper?

The Ravens drafted WR Devontez Walker in Round 4 last year to a team with a shallow pass-catching depth chart. He managed all of 1 reception on 3 targets despite appearing in nine games as a rookie. But that doesn't mean the team is casting him aside. Walker's lone catch did, at least, go for a 21-yard TD in Week 15, the start of a four-game stretch that found increased playing time. According to the team site, HC John Harbaugh "proposed the play" that produced the TD. And it sounds like Harbaugh remains optimistic.

Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic believes that the following Ravens saw their stock rise during OTAs/minicamp: TE Mark Andrews, RB Keaton Mitchell, and WR Devontez Walker.

Ravens HC John Harbaugh singled out WR Devontez Walker as a standout in rookie minicamp. "You knew he was gonna be fast. You knew he was gonna be big and fast. He showed that," Harbaugh said. "I was impressed with how he moved, change of direction. ... Caught the ball really well. ... He's off to a great start." There's opportunity in Baltimore's WR corps behind Zay Flowers. Walker has the size (6'2) and speed (4.36-second 40 time) to snatch that opportunity. We'll keep a close eye on the rookie this spring and summer. And he's worth a look at the end of early best-ball drafts.
