Barkley rushed 18 times, vs. six combined carries for the team's other two RBs. His five targets and 4 receptions each ranked second on the team. But Barkley struggled on the yardage front. He managed just 3.3 yards per rush and 6.0 yards per reception.

              Eagles RB Will Shipley suffered a rib injury in the first half of Thursday night's opener vs. the Cowboys. He was officially deemed "questionable" to return but never did. The second-year back got involved early, with two carries for 25 yards on Philadelphia's opening possession. He carried once more on the second possession before getting hurt. A.J.
