Eagles Edge Haason Reddick is having surgery to address a thumb injury he sustained in Monday's practice. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says, "This is all so that he is ready for the start of the season." Perhaps Reddick opens the year at a little less than full strength. But it sounds like he should be ready for the opener. We've nudged Reddick down the IDP rankings but still like him in DL1 territory.
Reddick hits COVID list
The Panthers on Wednesday place EDGE Haason Reddick on the COVID list. The timing figures to knock him out for Sunday's game against the Saints. He joins DE Brian Burns and LB Shaq Thompson there, with backup DE Marquis Haynes also on the list. We'll see if any among the earlier 3 can make it back for the game.
