Nathan Landman, LB ATL

Falcons rule out Nate Landman (knee), David Onyemata (ankle); two CBs questionable

The Falcons have ruled LB Nate Landman (knee) out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. Andre Smith looks like the next guy up, but we wouldn't go looking for a down-the-roster Atlanta LB in any format at this point in the fantasy season. Atlanta also ruled out DT David Onyemata (ankle). Onyemata and Landman hold the two best Pro Football Focus run-defense grades among Falcons front-seven players this season. So their absences can only help the matchup for Bucs RB Rachaad White. CB A.J. Terrell (concussion) and CB Jeff Okudah (ankle) are questionable for the game.

Lions CB Jeff Okudah (illness) is active for today's game against the Vikings. Use him as planned in IDP lineups.

Lions CB Jeff Okudah is questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings. He missed Wednesday and Thursday with an illness this week before putting in a limited Friday workout. Okudah played a key role in Detroit limiting Vikings WR Justin Jefferson in their 1st meeting this season. His presence Sunday shouldn't affect whether you're playing Jefferson in fantasy football lineups, but Okudah matters for the quality of Detroit's defense overall. He also could be in for plenty of opportunities for IDP upside, if active.

Lions HC Dan Campbell said after Sunday's loss to the 49ers that he fears CB Jeff Okudah suffered a torn Achilles' tendon in the game. That would obviously knock the #3 overall pick from 2020 out for the season. Okudah will have an MRI Monday to confirm.
