---|---|---|---|
Mar 30, 2021 | Non-NFL | Knee Strain Grade 1 | Burton suffered the injury during spring practice. |
Oct 2, 2021 | Non-NFL | Inguinal Groin Pull Grade 1 | Burton sat out one game. |
Oct 7, 2023 | Non-NFL | Pedal Foot | Burton "battled through a foot injury" in October, per The Athletic's Dane Brugler. |
Burton is a high-upside player in a high-upside offense. The biggest challenge will be target share. Bet on him being an inconsistent target collector and fantasy producer this year. But there’s handcuff upside in case of an injury to either Chase or Higgins. That makes Burton an immediately interesting bench stash. The longer-term uncertainty with Higgins (on franchise tag for 2024) adds upside to Burton for 2025 and beyond in dynasty.
