View AllBrown sidelined Wednesday
Rams RB Malcolm Brown (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday. Brown played 28% of Los Angeles' offensive snaps last week, finishing with 2 carries and 1 target. His absence vs. the Cardinals this weekend would be a very slight boost for RBs Darrell Henderson and Cam Akers.
Brown expected to practice this week
Dolphins RB Malcolm Brown (quad) is expected to return to practice this week, according to The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson. Brown's status has suddenly become important with RBs Myles Gaskin, Salvon Ahmed and Phillip Lindsay on the COVID list. Brown has been out since Week 7 but could play a significant role vs. the Jets on Sunday. We probably won't have a good idea of what Miami's backfield will look like for that one until late in the week.
Lindsay to COVID list
Dolphins RB Phillip Lindsay has joined teammates Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed on the COVID list. All 3 are vaccinated, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, so they have a chance to be cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. the Jets. Miami has RBs Duke Johnson and Gerrid Doaks on the practice squad, with RB Malcolm Brown still on IR with the quad injury he suffered back in Week 7.
