The Rams have ruled LB Troy Reeder (hamstring) out for Thursday night's game against the Vikings. That'll leave the defense without its top LB. It's not clear who will take over his spot, next to Christian Rozeboom. Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic said Wednesday that she expects to see both Jake Hummel and Omar Speights "get a shot." Rams DC reportedly said the team is "working through" who'll wear the green helmet dot and relay defensive play calls. Rozeboom looks like the only usable Rams LBs in IDP leagues. DL Braden Fiske (back) is questionable for the game as well. We'll check his status Thursday evening.
Ernest Jones believed to have high-ankle sprain
The Rams believe LB Ernest Jones suffered a high left ankle sprain in Sunday's win over the Vikings, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. That would almost certainly knock Jones out for at least Week 17 and probably the final 2 games of the regular season.
