Tyler Higbee Expected To Be Limited In Return

Tyler Higbee Expected To Be Limited In Return

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo confirms that Rams TE Tyler Higbee is expected to be limited in his return today from last January's torn ACL and MCL. Garafolo is expecting Higbee to play 20-25 plays vs. the Jets. Most of those figure to come in passing situations, but Higbee still should be nowhere near Week 16 fantasy lineups.

Rams TE Tyler Higbee (knee) is expected to make his 2024 debut vs. the Jets next week, HC Sean McVay said Friday. Higbee has been working his way back from last January's torn ACL and MCL. He figures to be eased back in and won't be a big part of a passing game dominated by WRs Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. Higbee can be left on fantasy waiver wires.

Rams TE Tyler Higbee (knee) will return to practice this week but is not expected to play vs. the Saints on Sunday, HC Sean McVay said. Higbee is working his way back from January's torn ACL and MCL. He's a long shot to be a bankable fantasy option the rest of the season and can be left on waiver wires.

The Rams have regularly been among the league leaders in '11' personnel (3-WR) usage under HC Sean McVay. But The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue speculates that the Rams might use more '12' packages (2 WRs, 2 TEs) this season.

The Athletic’s Jourdan Rodrigue expects Rams TE Colby Parkinson to have a "big role in this next iteration of [Sean] McVay's offense.” The 25-year-old spent his first four seasons in Seattle, totaling 57 catches, 618 yards, and 4 TDs. Back in March, he signed a three-year contract with a surprising $15.5 million guaranteed.
