Ravens Anger Everyone with Trey Hendrickson Deal

The Ravens have agreed to a four-year deal with Edge Trey Hendrickson. It carries a base value of $112 million, according to multiple reports, with a max of $120 million with incentives. The pact includes $60 million in guarantees, which basically positions it as a two-year deal with options beyond that. The announcement, of course, came quickly after news broke that Baltimore had backed out of the Maxx Crosby trade over medical concerns.

The Raiders announced Tuesday that the Ravens have canceled the Maxx Crosby trade. ESPN reports that Baltimore rescinded its offer because of "medical concerns that arose during a physical."

The Ravens are hiring Jesse Minter as their next head coach, according to multiple reports. Minter spent the past two years as Chargers DC after moving there from Michigan with HC Jim Harbaugh. He spent 2021 as DC at Vanderbilt after four years on John Harbaugh's defensive staff in Baltimore: three as an assistant and one as DBs coach.
