Rico Dowdle A Full-Go Thursday
Steelers RB Rico Dowdle (toe) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice. He's on track to return for this weekend's game vs. the Buccaneers. RB Jaylen Warren has been excellent with Dowdle out the past three weeks and should remain the lead back in Week 6. Exactly how much work Dowdle takes remains to be seen, but HC Mike McCarthy called Warren the offense's "featured player" earlier this week. Warren should stay locked into fantasy lineups this week. Dowdle would be a risky start in his first game back from turf toe.

Steelers RB Rico Dowdle (toe) remained limited in practice Wednesday. He was limited all last week before missing the Colts game. We're tentatively expecting Dowdle to play vs. the Buccaneers this weekend but will keep you updated on his status. Dowdle won't be a recommended fantasy start in his first game back, but his return would dent RB Jaylen Warren's fantasy value.

Steelers WR Roman Wilson is expected to miss "a couple of weeks" with the finger injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the Colts, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Wilson is still getting a second opinion on the injury. We'll let you know if his timeline changes, but Wilson is not a must-hold on redraft rosters. With WR Michael Pittman on IR and WR Ben Skowronek suffering a calf injury yesterday, the Steelers were down to Brandon Smith as their No. 3 WR. We should see targets condense around WRs D.K. Metcalf and Germie Bernard, TEs Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington, and RB Jaylen Warren in the short term.

Jaylen Warren Finally Finds the End Zone, Twice
Steelers RB Jaylen Warren ran 15 times for 101 yards (6.7 yards per carry) and a TD in Sunday’s 34-22 win over the Colts. He added 6 catches on 6 targets for 87 yards and another TD, highlighted by an 80-yard score. That totaled 188 scrimmage yards and 36.8 PPR points, one of the top RBs for the week. His longest run went for 50 yards. With Rico Dowdle out, Warren again dominated the backfield snaps, while Lew Nichols got just 1 carry.
