Lamar Jackson Has "Realistic Chance" To Play Week 6

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) has a "realistic chance" to play vs. the Browns this weekend, a league source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter. The reporting on Jackson's progress has been generally positive over the past few days. We're tentatively projecting him to play on Sunday, albeit with lower-than-usual rushing production coming off the ankle injury. We'll keep you updated on his status throughout the rest of the week.

Tyler Huntley Delivers A QB1 Fill-In With Lamar Jackson Sidelined

Huntley completed 24 of 32 pass attempts for 201 yards and 2 TDs, while adding another 20 yards and a TD as a rusher to finish as a QB1 for the second and only other time since 2021. He took over for QB Lamar Jackson who was sidelined with an ankle injury, finishing as the QB8 in Week 5 following the Ravens overtime win over the Falcons.

Lamar Jackson Out For Week 5

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) is out for Sunday night’s game vs. the Falcons. While his injury reportedly isn’t serious, Jackson didn’t seem particularly close to playing in this one. Consider him iffy for Week 6. Jackson’s absence leaves QB Tyler Huntley under center for Baltimore. He posted 186-1-0 and 107-1-0 passing lines in 2 starts last season, totaling just 42 total attempts. Expect a run-heavy attack from the Ravens this week.

Lamar Jackson "Day To Day" With Ankle Injury

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is considered "day to day" with the ankle injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the Titans, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Jackson didn't re-enter the game but remained on the sidelines for the second half. It sounds like he dodged a serious injury and at least has a chance to play vs. the Falcons next week.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson did not start the second half of Sunday's game vs. the Titans. He's officially questionable to return with an ankle injury. Jackson is on the sidelines without his helmet, with Baltimore up 24-7. QB Tyler Hunter has replaced him. We'll update Jackson's status when we know more.

Lamar Jackson Injures Back In Ravens' Loss

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson suffered a back injury in the second quarter of the team's 28-24 loss. Jackson was kneed in the lower left side with 1:56 remaining in the second quarter and headed to the locker room early. Tyler Huntley came in to finish that drive and played the entire second half as Jackson dealt with the injury. An MRI scheduled for Monday should tell us more. If Jackson can't play, Tyler Huntley would get the start in Week 17 in a crucial matchup against the Packers. UPDATE: Jackson is day-to-day with a back bruise.

Lamar Jackson Ready For Week 14

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) is not listed on the final injury report for this weekend’s game vs. the Steelers. Jackson got stepped on in Wednesday’s practice, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, and did not practice on Thursday. But he returned to a full practice on Friday. Still, we’ll assume Jackson is still not at 100% until we see it on the field. He sits lower than usual in the Week 14 QB rankings.

        Lamar Jackson Sidelined Thursday

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) did not practice on Thursday. That followed a limited workout on Wednesday -- which was his first Wednesday practice since Week 10. OC Todd Monken said he still expects Jackson to play vs. the Steelers this weekend but confirmed the obvious: That Jackson is not at 100%. "I just give him a lot of credit - he's battling each week trying to get healthy enough to be able to play every Sunday," Monken said. "I mean, that's what I see out of him. I see a guy that's battling little nagging injuries, things that are stopping him from being able to get out there every day and practice."

Rashod Bateman Will Play Week 13

Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (ankle) is off the final injury report and will play vs. the Bengals on Thursday night. He's averaged just 22 receiving yards per game this season and shouldn't be in fantasy lineups. But Bateman's return doesn't hurt QB Lamar Jackson's chances of a bounce-back game.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) is not listed on the final Week 12 injury report. He sat out on Wednesday but returned to full practices on Thursday and Friday. We’re not expecting the ankle to be a factor in this weekend’s game vs. the Jets.

Lamar Jackson Ready For Week 11

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (knee) is not listed on the final Week 11 injury report. He was held out of Wednesday’s practice with what HC John Harbaugh called knee soreness, but Jackson put in full practices on Thursday and Friday. We’re not expecting the knee to be a factor in Sunday’s game vs. the Browns.

Ravens "Very Confident" Lamar Jackson Plays Week 9

Ravens HC John Harbaugh said Monday that he's "very confident" QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) will be able to play vs. the Dolphins on Thursday night. Jackson wound up being limited in practice all last week (although he was originally listed as a full participant on Friday). He'll be 32 days removed from his hamstring injury when Thursday night's game kicks off, and the team has seemingly been cautious bringing Jackson back. We'll keep you updated on his status over the next few days, but an active Jackson will be a must-start in fantasy lineups.

        Lamar Jackson Ruled OUT

The Baltimore Ravens have officially ruled QB Lamar Jackson out for the team's Week 8 game against the Chicago Bears. Jackson missed 2 games with a hamstring injury and had the bye week to recover. He returned to full practices but took the field with the scout team on Friday, which hinted at his status. Tyler Huntley will start for the Ravens on Sunday.

Lamar Jackson Uncertain For Week 5

Ravens HC John Harbaugh did not have more information on QB Lamar Jackson's hamstring injury at his Monday press conference. But he did confirm that the injury -- and not the score -- kept Jackson from returning to the Chiefs game. "The way I know Lamar, if he could've gone in the game, he would've been in the game," Harbaugh said. "There was no way he could have gone back in the game." As NFL Network's Ian Rapoport put it, "That does open the door to Jackson missing next Sunday vs. the Texans." We'll look for further updates on Jackson's injury and track his practice participation when Baltimore gets back to work on Wednesday. But Jackson owners should be lining up a backup plan for at least Week 5 (and maybe beyond). The Ravens have a Week 7 bye.
