Mark Andrews Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

With TE Isaiah Likely sidelined by a foot fracture, Ravens TE Mark Andrews was poised for a feature role. Instead, he caught just one pass for five yards. Even without Likely, Andrews played 74.5% of the snaps -- down from 87.3% in his lone game without Likely last year. That number could dip further when Likely returns.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (foot) is out for Sunday night's game vs. the Bills. He didn't practice all week but has avoided a trip to IR. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported earlier this week that Likely "should be ready early in the season." We're currently projecting Likely to return in Week 3 but will continue to monitor his progress. His absence in the opener should mean a boost in playing time and targets for TE Mark Andrews.

The Ravens expect TE Isaiah Likely to miss Sunday's game against the Bills, but NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Likely "should be ready early in the season."

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely suffered a "small foot fracture" during Tuesday's practice, ESPN reports. The issue could keep him out into the early part of the regular season.

Update: Likely will have surgery this week to repair the broken bone in his foot and is tentatively expected to be sidelined for about six weeks, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Baltimore's season kicks off in 5.5 weeks.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely suffered an ankle injury near the end of Tuesday’s practice, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic. Likely is set to have an MRI on Wednesday but is expected to be out “a few weeks,” HC Jim Harbaugh said.

Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic believes that the following Ravens saw their stock rise during OTAs/minicamp: TE Mark Andrews, RB Keaton Mitchell, and WR Devontez Walker.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (knee) is out for Saturday night's Wild Card game vs. the Steelers. It's a big loss for Baltimore. Flowers led the team in targets (24.3% of the total), receptions (23.3%), and receiving yards (25.3%) during the regular season. His absence this weekend figures to mean more playing time for WRs Nelson Agholor and Tylan Wallace. But we expect Baltimore to go heavy on 2-TE sets with Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. Those two, plus WR Rashod Bateman, are the team's best target bets.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers will "likely" miss next week's Wild Card game with the knee injury he suffered in Saturday's win over the Browns, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "It’s not considered a major injury, though there is a real chance he misses next week," Rapoport writes. "If Baltimore takes care of business, he could be back." Flowers is set for an MRI on Sunday, so we should learn more about his status soon. His absence would create more target opportunity for WR Rashod Bateman and TEs Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely caught just one pass in Wednesday's win over the Texans, but that belied season-high usage. He led the skill-position players by playing 16 of 19 passing downs and running a team-high 15 routes. His 76% snap share marked a season high. Likely's lone catch did go for a 9-yard TD, his second straight game and third among the past four with a score.

Ravens WRs Rashod Bateman (foot) and Nelson Agholor (concussion) are listed as questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Steelers. Agholor did not practice all week and is a long shot to be cleared by Saturday. Bateman was added to the injury report on Wednesday and then did not practice on Thursday. He was spotted in a walking boot on Thursday morning. That might leave Baltimore without its No. 2 and 3 WRs this weekend. That'd likely mean target-share boosts for WR Zay Flowers and TEs Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely.

Update: The Ravens later downgraded Agholor to out.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews caught a team-high six passes for 67 yards and a TD in Sunday's loss to the Eagles. His TD came on a leaping grab of an end-zone throw that Lamar Jackson might have intended for Isaiah Likely. Andrews added another high-point catch late in the game

Ravens TE Mark Andrews rebounded to post a 5-catch, 44-yard line in Monday's win over the Chargers. He added his sixth TD of the season.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely returned Sunday after missing Week 10 and leaving Week 9 early with a hamstring injury. He tied for third on the team with 5 targets and first on the team with 4 receptions in the loss to the Steelers. TE Mark Andrews, meanwhile, managed just 2 receptions for 22 yards on 3 targets

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (hamstring) practiced all week and is not listed on the final injury report. He’ll be back for Sunday’s showdown vs. the Steelers. Likely is a low-floor fantasy play, but his return puts a dent in TE Mark Andrews’ playing time and target projections.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (hamstring) got in a limited practice on Wednesday. That should put him on track to return for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers. Likely isn't a viable fantasy starter, but his return knocks Mark Andrews from top-5 TE to low-end TE1.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely's absence in Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals put TE Mark Andrews back in a full-time role. He played 87% of Baltimore's offensive snaps and ran a route on 94% of pass plays -- both easily season highs. Andrews capitalized on the opportunity, catching six of seven targets for 68 yards and a score. The targets, catches, and yards all ranked top two on the team. Andrews' TD came on a route that QB Lamar Jackson said afterward was improvised. It looked like Andrews was supposed to run a shallow cross but instead turned it upfield to break free for an 18-yard score.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (hamstring) missed practice all week and is out for Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals. Likely has matched TE Mark Andrews with a 61% route rate and averaged 3.8 targets per game this season. His absence should mean a boost in playing time for Andrews against Cincinnati, although it's always tough to know exactly what Baltimore's game plans will look like.

Ravens TE Isaiah Likely (hamstring) did not practice on Tuesday. He played a season-low 30% of the offensive snaps last week -- and it looks like we now know why. We'll see if Likely practices tomorrow and how he's listed on the final injury report for Thursday night's game vs. the Bengals. His absence would likely mean a boost in playing time for TE Mark Andrews.
