Dolphins QB Skylar Thompson was knocked out in the third quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Seahawks. Thompson took five sacks and numerous other big hits. He's been replaced by QB Tim Boyle. Miami recently signed QB Snoop Huntley, who is active as the emergency third QB today.

It's a major concern for a guy who's already suffered at least two concussions (and what seemed like a third in 2022). Miami's backup QB is Skylar Thompson, who's averaged just 5.1 yards per attempt on 105 career passes. Tagovailoa's absence is a big blow to Miami's offense, particularly WRs Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Update: Tagovailoa has been ruled out with a concussion. He'll have 10 days to get cleared for Week 3's game vs. the Seahawks. But, considering his history, he's no better than 50/50 to play in that one.
