NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Falcons WR Drake London suffered a PCL sprain in his left knee in Sunday's loss to the Panthers. Rapoport says London is "out this week and potentially more." The Falcons visit the Saints in Week 12 and then the Jets in Week 13.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
WR Darnell Mooney and TE Kyle Pitts tied for the team lead in pass routes against Carolina, running routes on 30 of the team's 31 dropbacks. Following them among WRs (behind London's 28):
- David Sills V (21)
- KhaDarel Hodge (2)
- Casey Washington (1)
Combine that crew with Kirk Cousins' expected ascension -- perhaps for the rest of the season -- and you probably shouldn't bother with any Falcon beyond Mooney on waivers this week.
It's also worth noting that New Orleans has provided a negative scoring matchup for QBs and WRs on the season.
Expect a RB-driven offensive approach from Atlanta for at least Week 12, and probably for as long as they can manage to continue it.
Other Winners & Losers
Bijan Robinson doesn't need the help on opportunities, but more reliance on the backfield could help the touch counts for Tyler Allgeier.
He'll likely remain a TD-dependent option best left to non-PPR outfits. But Allgeier's workloads will be worth watching.
He could prove usable against the Saints this week, especially if you're losing De'Von Achane to the bye and light on options.
Injury Impact: Estimated Return Timeline & Performance Upon Return
We'll watch for further details on London's return timeline. But it's worth noting that this is the same injury we've already seen affect Raiders TE Brock Bowers and 49ers WR Ricky Pearsall this season.
Bowers initially tried to play through it before getting benched for four weeks to recover. Pearsall just returned Sunday for the first time since suffering his injury in Week 4.
We certainly don't know how the severity compares among the three players. But don't approach this as though London will miss a game and then be fine from Week 13 on.
We all hope that will be the case, but it shouldn't be the expectation.
