Bengals QB Joe Burrow returned from his turf toe injury in his first action since Week 2. The first half showed some rust with Burrow missing a few TD passes and the Bengals settling for 4 FGs. But he bounced back for a strong second half. Burrow’s final stat line was 24/46 with 261 yards and 2 TDs.

Burrow appears to be a trusted QB going forward. Though the Ravens' defense had their issues early in the season, they had given up the lowest QB rating in the league over the last six weeks. The Ravens locked down near the red zone in the first half, but the gate broke open in the second half.
With Tee Higgins sidelined for the game, Burrow locked in on WR Ja’Marr Chase. He went 7-110-0 on 14 targets. The receiving TDs went to TE Tanner Hudson and WR Andrei Iosivas, who both caught only one pass.
Burrow showed some mobility in the game too, not afraid to roll out and throw on the run. He also ran three times for 8 yards. Despite that being a bit under his average per game, it is telling that Burrow still scrambled when needed (and had one fluky designed run due to a miscommunication).
Maybe the best part of the offense was the protection. Burrow was only sacked once and only hit a handful of times throughout the contest. If that continues, Burrow could be a solid top-12 QB option moving forward.
