Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.
WR Amari Cooper has informed the Raiders that he's retiring, NFL Network reports. The decision comes just a little over a week after Cooper re-joined the team that drafted him back in 2015. It was a quick fall for Cooper, who went for 1,250 yards in 2023 before totaling just 547 yards between stints with the Browns and Bills last year.
Free Agent WR Amari Cooper signed a one-year deal with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Bills WR Amari Cooper is back with the team, HC Sean McDermott said Wednesday. Cooper missed Week 18 for a personal matter but should play against the Broncos on Sunday. See where Cooper sits in the Wild Card Round Rankings.
Bills WR Amari Cooper remains away from the team for personal reasons, HC Sean McDermott said Monday. McDermott said he's "hopeful" Cooper will be available for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Broncos. We'll keep you posted on his status. Cooper never became a full-time player for the Bills after arriving in October. He's averaged 2.5 catches and 37 yards across eight games with the team. He's a risk/reward pick in NFL playoff fantasy drafts, with the upside to get four games if the Bills make a run to the Super Bowl.
Bills WR Amari Cooper has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game vs. the Patriots due to a family matter. We'll look for more details on the situation and whether this might impact Cooper's availability for next weekend's playoff game. He was unlikely to play much, if at all, against New England anyway.
Bills WR Amari Cooper exited for a concussion check in the third quarter of Sunday's game vs. the Jets. His head hit the turf hard at the end of a 30-yard TD. We'll update Cooper's status when we know more.
Update: Cooper has been cleared to return.
Bills WR Curtis Samuel (rib) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Jets. Buffalo will continue to roll with a WR rotation of Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Amari Cooper, and Mack Hollins.
Bills WR Keon Coleman (wrist) put in a full week of practice and is not listed on the final injury report for Sunday's game vs. the Lions. It's unclear how big a role the rookie will play in his first game since Week 9. We'd try to keep Coleman on fantasy benches this week. His return does add some downside risk to the target projections on WRs Amari Cooper and Khalil Shakir.
Bills QB Josh Allen had the highlight of the game throwing a pass to Amari Cooper who lateraled it back to Allen for the TD. He got the very rare double TD with a pass and receiving TD (but no catch). Allen ended completing 13-of-17 for 148 yards and two TDs. He also ran for an additional TD.
Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) is active for today’s game vs. the Chiefs. He remained limited in practice all week and is expected to play with a cast on his injured left wrist today. Cooper is a shaky fantasy play against Kansas City’s ninth-ranked WR defense.
Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Chiefs after a limited week of practice. He said Thursday that he expected to play – but would do so with a cast on his injured left wrist. Cooper would be a risky Week 11 fantasy start. WR Keon Coleman (wrist) has been ruled out for Week 11.
Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) remained limited in Thursday's practice but said afterward that he expects to play vs. the Chiefs this weekend. “Definitely feeling better, definitely more comfortable," Cooper said. Cooper still has a cast on his left wrist, though, and said that he'd wear it if he plays on Sunday. That adds more risk to a guy who's still only played two games with his new team.
Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He's been limited in all six practices over the last two weeks before missing both of those games. "We’ll see how the week unfolds," HC Sean McDermott said of Cooper's status for Sunday's showdown vs. the Chiefs. We'll keep you updated on the situation, but fantasy players shouldn't be counting on Cooper in Week 11 lineups.
Bills HC Sean McDermott told reporters Monday that WR Keon Coleman won't play Sunday against the Chiefs. That'll be the second straight missed game for Coleman. We'll see about his status on the other side of the Week 12 bye. ESPN's Adam Schefter added that WR Amari Cooper "is progressing." We'll see about Cooper's status as the week goes.
Bills WR Amari Cooper (wrist) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Colts. With WR Keon Coleman out with his own wrist injury, Buffalo is down to WRs Khalil Shakir, Mack Hollins, Curtis Samuel, Jalen Virgil, and Tyrell Shavers. Shakir and TE Dalton Kincaid are the team’s best target bets today.
