Jaguars WR Parker Washington racked up 124 yards and 2 TDs on 6 catches in Sunday's win over the Eagles. He delivered a 51-yard catch-and-run to starting the game's scoring in the first quarter, and then added a gorgeous catch for a 27-yard TD late in the fourth.
Jaguars WR Parker Washington managed only 1 catch for 7 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bengals. His 3 targets were good for just a 13% target share on a day with only 23 Trevor Lawrence pass attempts.
Jaguars WR Parker Washington drew a team-high 6 targets in Sunday's lopsided win over the Browns, catching five of them for 83 yards and one of QB Trevor Lawrence's four TD passes. No other Jag drew more than 3 targets as the team attempted just 23 total passes. Washington ran a route on 72% of Jacksonville's 25 dropbacks, trailing Jakobi Meyers by two routes (20-18).
In the same offseason that the Jaguars have already extended one of their wide receivers, Jakobi Meyers,, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports that Parker Washington could be the next to get a long-term extension before Week 1. The Jaguars open their season against the Browns exactly one week from today.
Jaguars WR Parker Washington returned to practice on Sunday. He missed about a week with an undisclosed injury, but it never sounded serious and doesn't look like an issue going forward. We recently highlighted Washington as one of the most undervalued players in fantasy drafts.
Jaguars WR Parker Washington has missed most of this week's practices with an undisclosed injury. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports, however, that Washington is expected to return next week. (He did not, unfortunately, add any injury details.)
Jacksonville's Travis Hunter played 28 snaps on defense and just 2 on offense in 11-on-11 work in Wednesday's joint practice with the Panthers, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. That fits the recent camp trend: Hunter has been playing much more defense than offense.
Jaguars WR Parker Washington is out for this week with an undisclosed injury, per The Florida Times-Union's Ryan O'Halloran.
The reports coming out of Jacksonville all seem to be indicating the same thing: Parker Washington has been the star of training camp. He only continued that in Sunday’s practice with three more catches on 3 targets that included a deep ball from Trevor Lawrence per Mia O’Brien of ESPN Radio.
It's been clear for a while now that Travis Hunter will play a bigger role on Jacksonville's defense this year than last. It's been less clear what that will mean for his playing time on offense. But HC Liam Coen gave us a strong signal when talking about Hunter's role with ESPN's Jeremy Fowler recently.
Jaguars WR Parker Washington has been a daily standout in training camp, drawing praise from coaches and media alike. He looks primed to open the season as Jacksonville's best target bet.
The Jaguars have agreed to a three-year extension with TE Brenton Strange with a max value of $48 million and $25 million in guarantees, NFL Network reports. That’s the fifth-most guaranteed money on a TE contract in the league right now. The $16 million a year at max value would also rank fifth-highest. (We’ll see about the base numbers.)
It was a little surprising when the Jaguars drafted Texas A&M TE Nate Boerkircher. It was the team’s first pick, after Jacksonville traded its first-rounder to move up for Travis Hunter in 2025, and Boerkircher totaled just 38 receptions across five college seasons (four at Nebraska, one at A&M). But the degree to which Jags leadership got excited about the selection might give us some hints at the team’s offensive plans for 2026 and beyond … and they could impact the fantasy outlook for your favorite Jacksonville receiver.
Jaguars OC Grant Udinski believes WR Parker Washington is capable of "even more" than he did at the end of last season. Washington averaged 4.8 catches, 74.7 yards, and 0.5 TDs over his final 10 games last year, including 114 yards and 0.75 TDs over his final 4.
Jaguars GM James Gladstone said he expects Travis Hunter to play both offense and defense again this season, and that the team is “absolutely not” done using him as a two-way player. He added that Hunter’s CB percentage and defensive snap count should rise. Hunter played 324 snaps at WR and 162 at CB last season, which matches the earlier reports pointing to a bigger defensive role. Gladstone did not call Hunter a “full-time” CB, but it sounds like those snap counts could be much closer to even in 2026.
