Travis Hunter Draws Target Lead in Debut

WR Travis Hunter led the Jaguars with eight targets in his NFL debut Sunday. He caught six of them (also a team high) for 33 yards. Hunter actually ranked third among Jags receivers in playing time, staying on the field for 63.6% of the offensive snaps and running a route on 81.8% of dropbacks. That number narrowly trailed No. 2 Dyami Brown (84.8%), though, and also fell not far behind Brian Thomas Jr. (27 routes vs. 33).

Jacksonville WR/DB Travis Hunter caught two passes for nine yards during Saturday’s preseason game against the Steelers. Hunter played both sides of the ball, but the Jaguars seemed to prioritize him on offense in this game.

Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. won't practice Wednesday, but you don't need to worry. ESPN's Michael DiRocco reports that it's just an illness and that the team calls him "day-to-day."
