Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. should be ready for the regular-season opener, despite a left-shoulder issue late in August. SI's John Shipley says Thomas had shed his non-contact practice jersey by the middle of last week.
Travis Hunter to Miss at Least Four Games
The Jaguars are placing Travis Hunter on IR because of the knee injury he suffered in Thursday's practice, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The rookie will miss at least the next four games. We have yet to see details on the injury, but it doesn't sound like the team expects it to end his season.
Trevor Lawrence Placed on Injured Reserve With Concussion
Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence is being placed on IR after suffering a concussion against the Texans. He would be eligibile to return for Week 18, but he likely will be shut down for the season. LB Azeez Al-Shaair was suspended due to the hit on Lawrence while he was sliding.
