NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Friday night that Love is “tracking to play” on Sunday. It’s safe to assume he won’t be at 100%, adding risk to his Week 9 fantasy profile. But having Love under center instead of QB Malik Willis would be excellent news for Green Bay’s pass catchers.

"I’ve made progress," Love said. “It’s definitely feeling better. I think every day there will be some improvements to it but definitely feels better than it did on Sunday." Colleague Tom Pelissero adds that Love is considered "day to day" and "has a chance" to play vs. the Lions this weekend. Love will certainly push to play in that big game, although it's worth noting that the Packers have a Week 10 bye. We'll track his status throughout the week. If Love is unable to go, Green Bay will turn back to QB Malik Willis. He's played surprisingly well this season, helping the Packers to three wins. But Willis would be a significant downgrade for the team's pass catchers.
