        Jayden Reed Has Broken Collarbone

        Jayden Reed Has Broken Collarbone

Packers WR Jayden Reed broke his collarbone in Thursday night's win over the Commanders, HC Matt LaFleur said. The "hope" is that Reed will be back in 6-8 weeks, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

We've been tracking a left foot injury for Jayden Reed nearly all month, and passed along just this morning that the Packers WR looks iffy for Week 1. But the latest revelation makes everything beyond Week 1 look iffy as well. Jason Wilde -- a longtime Packers writer -- reports that Reed's dealing with a Jones fracture in his left foot.

Packers QB Jordan Love is undergoing surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, GM Brian Gutekunst announced. Love banged the non-throwing thumb on a helmet in Green Bay's preseason opener on Saturday. Gutekunst called it a "little procedure" and said Love "shouldn't miss any regular-season time." He added that the team is hoping to get Love back at practice next week.
