Further testing confirmed that Packers TE Tucker Kraft tore his right ACL in the Week 9 loss to the Panthers. He'll miss the rest of the 2025 season. Kraft will have a little over 10 months to get ready for the start of the 2026 campaign. Assuming this was a relatively clean tear with no additional damage, Kraft should have a good chance to be ready for Week 1.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Kraft leads the Packers with 489 receiving yards and six receiving scores, accounting for 17.6% of the team's targets. So this injury leaves behind a lot of opportunity.
TE Luke Musgrave will be the biggest beneficiary. He should be a full-time player the rest of the way. Musgrave isn't as dynamic as Kraft, particularly after the catch, so don't expect him to be nearly as efficient or command as much volume. Consider him a TE2 for now, with the upside for some TE1 spikes.
WRs Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson could also pick up extra targets with Kraft out of the picture. We'll see about the shoulder injury that knocked WR Matthew Golden out of Week 9 -- and when WR Jayden Reed is able to return from his injuries.
QB Jordan Love's fantasy value takes a hit without Kraft. Love has averaged 11.1 yards per pass throwing to Kraft this season vs. 7.7 to everyone else.
