49ers RB Isaac Guerendo is "day-to-day" with a foot sprain suffered in the Week 14 win over the Bears, HC Kyle Shahanan said Monday. Guerendo dodged a significant injury, although he remains uncertain for Thursday night's game vs. the Rams. Shanahan said Guerendo won't do much in practice on Monday or Tuesday. We'll see how he's listed on Wednesday's final injury report. For now, we would not plan on having Guerendo available in Week 15. His absence would leave Patrick Taylor as San Francisco's lead back -- and a viable Week 15 fantasy start.

X-rays were not conclusive, and Guerendo is scheduled for more testing on Monday. We should get another update on his status within the next 24 hours, but this injury could certainly cost him time. Guerendo's absence would leave Patrick Taylor as San Francisco's latest lead back.
