49ers Sign RB Corey Kiner as a UDFA

The San Francisco 49ers signed Cincinnati RB Corey Kiner to an Undrafted Free Agent contract after the 2025 NFL Draft. Kiner held the RB2 role as a true freshman at LSU. He played behind junior Ty Davis-Price, a future Round 3 pick of San Francisco. Kiner transferred to Cincinnati the following year and didn’t earn the lead back role until 2023. Over the next two seasons, he totaled 2,200 yards and 9 TDs. 2024 was particularly impressive. Kiner set career highs in yards per carry, yards after contact per attempt, PFF Elusive Rating, and PFF rushing grade. The bulk of his carries came in a zone scheme. Kiner showed underwhelming speed and burst at the NFL combine, registering a 4.57 forty and a 1.59 10-yard split. But his game is built on contact balance, and he’ll look to find a two-down role in the pros.
