Kenneth Murray Fantasy Overview

The Cowboys acquired LB Kenneth Murray Jr. from the Titans this week, amid a significant remodeling of their LB corps. Neither of the two off-ball starters from last season -- Eric Kendricks and DeMarvion Overshown -- appears likely to take the field in Week 1 of 2025. Murray arrives after just one season of a two-year contract he signed with Tennessee, following a four-year stint with the chargers. He arrived as a first-round pick back in 2020.

The Titans have agreed to a three-year, $21 million deal with LB Cody Barton, NFL Network reports. That should install the former Bronco as the starter next to LB Kenneth Murray, unless Tennessee decides to dump him ahead of the second year on his contract.

Titans LB Kenneth Murray Jr. is active for today's game against the Colts. He makes for a risky IDP option, though, after missing all three practices with the hamstring injury that kept him out two weeks ago. Murray did return last week to play 94% of defensive snaps against the Bengals, though.

Titans LBs Kenneth Murray and Jerome Baker carry no game designation on the week's final injury report and appear set to return for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
