Washington QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (hip) will be placed on IR, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We're still waiting to hear exactly how long Fitzpatrick will be sidelined, but the move to IR knocks him out for at least the next 3 games. QB Taylor Heinicke is set to step in as Washington's starter. He gets the Giants on Thursday night.
