Antonio Brown Headshot

In a lengthy statement released on Tuesday night, WR Antonio Brown revealed that he'll undergo surgery for the ankle injury he originally suffered in Week 6 and played through the past 2 weeks. “It shows broken bone fragments stuck in my ankle, the ligament torn from the bone, and cartilage loss, which are beyond painful," Brown said of the latest MRI on his ankle. "You can see the bone bulging from the outside.” Brown also claims he pulled himself from the Jets game, the Bucs' coaches told him to go back in and then told him he was done with the team when he refused. Brown added that he's expected to make a full recovery from the ankle injury and is "looking forward to next season." We'll see if another team takes a shot on him.
