Falcons WR Rondale Moore has been running primarily with the second-team offense early in training camp, according to multiple beat writers. Ray-Ray McCloud has been getting most of the first-team slot snaps.

What They're Saying

"Ray-Ray McCloud is firmly the starting slot WR [right now]," the Falcoholic's Adnan Ikic wrote from training camp on Saturday.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

The Falcons are expected to deploy lots of 3-WR sets under new OC Zac Robinson, so whoever wins the slot job between Drake London and Darnell Mooney has a chance to hit the fantasy radar.

Moore was the presumed favorite for that job, but it sounds like he has depth-chart climbing to do.

McCloud has primarily been a special-teamer through six NFL campaigns and has never topped 39 catches or 277 receiving yards in a season. The Falcons inked him to a two-year, $5 million deal this offseason.

We'll continue to keep an eye on this battle throughout August. For now, neither Moore nor McCloud is worth a pick in fantasy drafts.
