Packers RB MarShawn Lloyd left Saturday’s preseason game with a hamstring injury. Lloyd carried once for 8 yards before departing.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Earlier in training camp, the rookie missed time with a hip injury. So it’s been a tough summer for the talented Round 3 pick, who many expected to slide into the RB2 role behind Josh Jacobs.

At least for now, AJ Dillon holds that job. He’s just not someone we can get excited about drafting as a handcuff (or potentially more). His career YPC is just 4.1. His career-long run is 40 yards…on 612 total attempts.

No surprise, then, that he's cracked 10 PPR points per game in only one of four seasons.

Projected ADP Movement

Lloyd's current RB49 ADP didn't turn up much risk pre-injury. But he won't be anything close to a priority pick until we get some clarity on his status.

Injury Impact: Estimated Return Timeline & Performance Upon Return

We've yet to hear word on severity, but look for that within the next few days. Green Bay opens the regular season on September 6 vs. Philadelphia, so there's time for him to suit up if the hamstring injury turns up minor.
