Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs suffered a hamstring injury in Monday's practice, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The team has only said that Gibbs is being evaluated for a leg injury.

Injury History

Gibbs missed two games with a hamstring injury last year. It's unclear if this latest injury is to the same hamstring.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

We'll look for more details on the severity of Gibbs' hamstring injury and a timeline for return. He has a little less than four weeks until Detroit's season opener against the Rams on Sunday Night Football.

We'll tentatively expect Gibbs to be ready for that one, but hamstring injuries can be tricky and are prone to aggravation.

Other Winners & Losers

RB David Montgomery would be a big winner if Gibbs' injury forces him to miss time. In his one full game without Gibbs last year, Montgomery tallied a 19-109-1 rushing line and 2-20-0 receiving. He finished the week fifth among RBs in PPR points.

RB Craig Reynolds is currently third on the Lions depth chart.
