        Texans Dump Noah Brown

        Noah Brown Headshot

The Texans are releasing WR Noah Brown, according to insider Jordan Schultz. It's a slight surprise after Brown had a few big games when Houston was dealing with injuries to WRs Nico Collins and Tank Dell last year.

        2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Collins, Dell, and Stefon Diggs are locked in as Houston's top three WRs. It looks like the team will roll with Robert Woods, John Metchie, and Xavier Hutchinson as depth. Those guys would need at least one injury to the top three to have a chance at fantasy value. They belong on fantasy waiver wires for now.

Brown is coming off the best season of his career in terms of receiving yards per game (56.7) and yards per route (1.94). But that says more about QB C.J. Stroud's brilliance than Brown's progression. We'll see where he lands, but he's unlikely to be a 2024 fantasy factor.
