Vikings WR Jordan Addison returned to practice Monday for the first time since spraining his left ankle in an Aug. 14 practice. We don't yet know just how much he participated, though we'll start getting those reports Wednesday, ahead of Sunday's season opener at the Giants.

        What They're Saying

Andrew Krammer of The Minnesota Star Tribune: "Jordan Addison back at practice but did not see him do much outside of warmups during 15 minutes open to reporters."

Addison returning to practice to open the final week of prep before the opener obviously helps his chances of playing against the Giants. We'll watch for more details on his situation this week.

If healthy, Addison should easily stand as Minnesota's No. 2 target behind Justin Jefferson.

The team will miss TE T.J. Hockenson for at least the first four games, as he opens the year on the PUP list. And No. 3 WR Jalen Nailor was working on a side field Monday, according to Vikings Wire's Judd Zulgad, with an undisclosed ailment.

Really, the whole situation points to Jefferson opening the season as an even better bet to hog targets than he already seemed.

But there's room for Addison to also become a strong value at an ADP that has fallen by as much as three rounds this summer.

Jordan Addison ADP has fallen by multiple rounds in fantasy football drafts this summer. He returned to the field Monday from an Aug. 14 left ankle sprain.
