The Giants added WR Malik Nabers to the practice report as limited Thursday with a knee injury. That indicates he hurt the joint in practice. We'll watch for more details on the issue and the rookie's Week 2 outlook.
What They're Saying
Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News: "Malik Nabers was acting not like himself in the locker room today. Some players were asking him how he was. Now we know why: he’s now on the injury report as limited with a knee injury."
Nabers after practice, when asked how the practice had gone: "It went great. Got to move around a lot. It was a good day."

Connor Hughes of SNY also mentioned how Nabers "seemed a little off." Between those mentions and Nabers calling it a "good day" at practice, it's tough to know whether this knee issue simply isn't a big deal -- or if the rookie simply doesn't want to talk about it.
We should -- at the very least -- get further indication on Nabers' Week 2 outlook when the team practices Friday.
If the rookie can't go against the Commanders, the Giants would lose their Week 1 leader in routes and WR snaps. His absence would elevate Jalin Hyatt into the position's top 3, after he played just 15 snaps in the opener.
Darius Slayton ranked second among Week 1 WRs in playing time, while WR Wan'Dale Robinson led in targets (12).
Other Winners & Losers
TE Theo Johnson also could see more targets if Nabers were to miss time. Johnson easily led his position in Week 1 playing time and tied for fourth on the team with 4 targets.
