Ravens RB Derrick Henry recorded a vintage Derrick Henry line in the Week 3 win over the Cowboys: 25 carries, 151 yards, and two TDs. He punched in a one-yard score in the first quarter but really got rolling in the second half, ripping off 99 yards and another TD on 13 carries. That included a 29-yard rumble and a 26-yard TD on the first drive of the third quarter to put Baltimore up by 22 points. Henry also caught his only target for 23 yards.
2024 Fantasy Football Impact
This was a much-needed performance from a Ravens running game that struggled over the first two weeks of the season. Henry will continue to be a big part of this offense in positive game script. He continued to lose passing-down snaps in Dallas to RB Justice Hill, which will hurt more when Baltimore is playing from behind. But this team still projects to have leads more often than not.
The biggest fantasy takeaway from this one, though, is to start RBs against this Cowboys defense. Dallas has now coughed up 392 rushing yards and six rushing TDs on 5.4 yards per carry through three weeks.
The next three teams to face the Cowboys:
- Giants (Devin Singletary)
- Steelers (Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren)
- Lions (Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery)
