2024 Fantasy Football Impact

The 49ers are likely to miss Hargrave more in the pass rush than run defense. He finished each of the past three seasons among the top eight interior linemen in pressures, according to Pro Football Focus.

That included his first season with San Francisco, when Hargrave ranked second on the team in total pressures and second on the team with 7 sacks.

This year's Niners have just 8 total sacks through three games. Only Edge Nick Bosa has delivered more than 1 to date.

Jordan Elliott looks like the primary fill-in. He has just 5 sacks since entering the league in 2020 and isn't likely to be an IDP factor.

Dynasty Impact

Hargrave will be 32 when the 2025 season begins. His contract looks likely to keep him in San Francisco, but we'll see where he's at this offseason.
