2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Hunt figures to be active for this Sunday's game against the Chargers, although we'll project him to be the No. 3 RB for now behind Carson Steele and Samaje Perine.

Hunt is familiar with HC Andy Reid's offense after spending his first two NFL seasons in Kansas City. But the 29-year-old was woefully ineffective in Cleveland last year, averaging 3.0 yards per carry and 5.6 yards per catch. Hunt ranked 48th among 49 qualifying RBs in NFL Next Gen Stats' rush yards over expected per attempt.

We're not betting on Hunt emerging as a fantasy factor in Kansas City, but we're not completely ruling it out. And he's certainly capable of taking enough work to dent Steele and Perine's fantasy stock.

Remember, too, that RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire is eligible to return in Week 5.

Selling Steele off his decent outing on Sunday night isn't a bad idea.
