Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson is expected to come off the PUP list "this week or shortly thereafter," per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Hockenson tore his right ACL/MCL on December 24.
Here’s more from Schefter on Hockenson’s potential return date:
“The most likely return dates for Hockenson are the Thursday night game in Los Angeles (Week 8), or the following week's home game against the Colts.”
The hot start from Sam Darnold certainly bodes well for Hockenson’s fantasy value.
Through three games, Darnold leads the league in passing TDs. He's eighth in EPA per dropback; fifth in completion rate over expected.
Hockenson should remain stashed in all fantasy formats. Note that in 2023, he ranked second in TE PPR points per game.
