Saints QB Derek Carr suffered an oblique injury in the fourth quarter of Monday night's game vs. the Chiefs. He's scheduled for an MRI on Tuesday to get a better look at the damage. "Not good," Carr said when asked how he felt afterward.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

QB Jake Haener replaced Carr for the final drive of the Monday nighter, completing two of seven passes for 17 yards. The 2023 fourth-rounder started for Fresno State in 2021 and 2022, completing 69% of his passes at 8.3 yards per attempt.

The Saints also have fifth-round rookie QB Spencer Rattler, who the team is reportedly "really, really high" on.

We'll see if Carr is available for Sunday's game vs. the Bucs. And, if not, who the Saints roll with. Carr's absence would be a significant downgrade for WRs Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.
