Travis Etienne "Week To Week" With Hamstring Injury

Jaguars RB Travis Etienne is "week to week" with the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to the Bears, HC Doug Pederson said. Etienne will likely miss at least this weekend's game vs. the Patriots and could miss another game or two. Jacksonville's bye isn't until Week 12.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Etienne has been a major disappointment this season and could now be looking at a multi-week injury. We'd try to keep him stashed on fantasy benches, but he could be cuttable in shallow leagues.

Etienne's absence will leave the backfield to RBs Tank Bigsby and D'Ernest Johnson. Bigsby is the clear favorite for carries. But, as we saw in London yesterday, Jacksonville still doesn't trust Bigsby in obvious passing situations. He lost those snaps to Johnson vs. the Bears.

That lowers Bigsby's weekly ceiling and floor. But he can still be used as a fantasy starter while Etienne is out. He gets a nice Week 7 spot with his Jaguars 5.5-point favorites over the Patriots.
