RB Chris Rodriguez matched Austin Ekeler for the team lead with 11 carries in Sunday's win over the Giants. His 52 yards beat Ekeler by 10 to lead the team, and his 4.7 yards per rush led the team. Rodriguez ran third among the group in receiving work, though, getting just 2 routes to Ekeler's 13 and McNichols' 11.

Brian Robinson Jr.'s inactive status obviously left opportunities available. And the team pumped up that opportunity by handing the ball off 30 times, compared with just 25 dropbacks for Jayden Daniels.
Not only had Rodriguez not seen a carry before Sunday's game; he hadn't played a single offensive snap. Even in this game, he didn't touch the ball until the second half.
This performance probably won't wind up pointing to any fantasy relevance the rest of the way for Rodriguez. But keep it in mind if you consider playing McNichols in deep leagues if Robinson turns up inactive again.
Don't expect Washington to go so run-heavy most weeks. The Commanders entered the day with just a 41% rush rate for the season.
