Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins erupted for 8 catches, 86 yards, and 2 TDs in a Week 9 win over Tampa Bay. After seeing a limited role in his K.C. debut, Hopkins’ usage noticeably increased against the Bucs.

        2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Hopkins tallied a 33% route rate and a 9% target rate in Week 8. Those numbers jumped to 69% and 21%, respectively, on Monday night.

Hopkins delivered with a vintage performance. He made a couple of tough catches, particularly on a downfield pass in heavy traffic. Both of his TDs came on end zone balls in the red zone.

JuJu Smith-Schuster missed this game, but his upcoming return figures to impact Xavier Worthy and Justin Watson much more than Hopkins.

As long as Patrick Mahomes (ankle) is OK going forward, the former Titan should deliver WR2/3 totals.
