Cowboys LB DeMarvion Overshown left Sunday's loss to the Eagles with a right knee injury. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that it's merely bursitis and not believed to be serious.
Rapoport: "X-Rays were negative and he'll have treatment and rehab. But does not appear to be a significant injury."
There's no word yet on whether Overshown will miss further time. That's likely to be figured out as Dallas and the LB get into prep for Week 11.
Overshown was in the midst of his best statistical performance all season before leaving in the fourth quarter:
Played at least 86% of snaps in five straight games before Sunday's early exit. He has delivered 6 tackles for loss over just the past three games, including 3 sacks.
Overshown looks like an LB3 with upside the rest of the way, as long as he's healthy.
Overshown's definitely a nice growth stock to get in on now for dynasty purposes. The 24-year-old already commanded increased playing time with his performance less than halfway through his second season.
The former third-round pick missed all of his rookie season last year because of an August ACL tear.
