Chargers Edge Khalil Mack is questionable for the second straight week thanks to a groin injury that kept him out of practice once again. Mack missed all three practices last week before playing through a "questionable" tag last week. He made it through just 4 snaps in that game. Edge Joey Bosa, meanwhile, put in his first full practice since Week 3 on Friday and is off the final injury report for the first time since that week as well. He said Friday that they plan to increase his playing time from the 19-20 snaps of the past three games to "about 30, 30-plus."
Bosa hasn't played more than 37% of the defensive snaps in a game since Week 1. So even the boost he mentioned Friday would still land short of traditionally "full" playing time for a healthy Bosa.
Bosa did deliver his third sack of the season last week and has a QB hit in four of the five games in which he has played more than 2 snaps. But he also has just 3 total tackles since the opener.
That all gives Bosa more risk than upside for most IDP formats. You'll still find him low in the Week 11 DL rankings.
Mack sits even lower in the rankings for now. He's best left out of IDP lineups altogether after the way last week went and then three more missed practices.
Edges Bud Dupree and Tuli Tuipulotu should continue to see elevated playing time. They get a decent matchup with the Bengals, who sit just 18th in sacks allowed but have yielded 3+ to six of 10 opponents.
